Loving Leah with Lauren Ambrose and Adam Kaufman is about a deeply religious Jewish woman and a Jewish man who does not practice the religion. They form a relationship by following an old Jewish tradition that a man should marry his brother's widow.
This is a meeting between of religion, tradition and how these are practiced by two very different people that has the same religion. At the bottom of it all, this is structured as a romantic film where the connection between the man and woman gradually grows.
I do not like religious films particulary, and I knew little about Loving Leah before I started watching it. The way the film treats nonsense as serious does not appeal to me, and overall I think the film was not worth the time.
